Talon/LPE specializes in a variety of environmental drilling services that includes the installation of investigative soil borings, geotechnical borings, monitoring wells, recovery wells and injection wells ranging in size from two to ten inches in diameter and to depths up to 900 feet below ground surface. Talon/LPE has completed projects for the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of the Interior, Texas Railroad Commission, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Texas Department of Transportation, New Mexico Oil Conservation Division, New Mexico Environment Department, Oklahoma Corporation Commission, Oklahoma Energy Resource Board, municipalities, and many environmental/engineering firms. Our offices have established a proven track record in completing our clients’ projects within budget, safely, and on schedule.
Talon/LPE has over 50 years of combined drilling experience in a vast array of drilling conditions throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana and Kansas. Talon/LPE owns and operates late model air/mud rotary and hollow stem auger drilling equipment in order to achieve faster production rates, incur less down time, and provide the safest possible working conditions for our employees and clients. All of our air rotary rigs have been fitted with soil cutting/dust containment systems to combat the problems of airborne dust hazards as well as containment of produced soil cuttings that are generally associated with air rotary drilling projects. In addition, our mud rotary rigs use a portable mud shaker system to reduce circulation of fine silts and aid in soil containment. All of our rigs are outfitted with the latest safety devices.
